    Use & Care

    Use

    • Ideal for use on any type of cooktop, including induction.
    • Read instruction booklet before using. 
    • Do not use under broiler to prevent altering natural seasoning that builds up on cooking surface.
    • Do not use to cook acidic food.

    Care

    • Wash exterior and interior with hot water and a little soap to remove beeswax coating before seasoning.
    • Season pan before first use. Add 1/3 cup oil, 2/3 cup salt and the peels from 2 potatoes (or 2 sliced onions) to pan. Over medium heat, stir potatoes every few minutes. Salt acts as natural abrasive to remove wax and grease from surface while peels regulate heat and ensure even distribution of seasoning over pan surface. After 15 minutes, pan will start to turn brown, indicating that seasoning is taking effect. Discard contents of pan and rinse with hot soapy sponge. Return pan to low heat for 1 minute to ensure it is completely dry. Remove from heat, add 1/4 tsp. oil to pan and wipe thoroughly with paper towel until fine sheen is all that remains.
    • Hand-wash after each use with hot water. Add a few drops of gentle soap, if needed.
    • Do not soak pan.
    • Remove any residue with wooden spoon or nonabrasive scouring pad.

    A pan to last a lifetime, perfect for stir fry.

    I purchased this pan primarily for stir fry in place of a wok. The flat bottom of this pan is very stable, and because it isn't a dedicated wok i can use it for other things as well. So far the pan has performed very well and has seasoned nicely. Except for the handle! I bought the 'Pro' version of this pan for its beautifully sculpted stainless steel handle, however that handle is slippery! This pan is quite heavy (think well made) and when turning the pan to dump out food i cannot get a firm turning grip on the handle like i can with a standard Mineral B or something like All-clads stainless handles. That being said I still would absolutely recommend this pan.

    Multipurpose

    I use this pan for literally everything other than frying an egg. It is perfect for a glass cooktop because of the large flat contact area. I apply crisbee to it regularly and could probably cook without oil at all. The reviewer that says they warped their pan, I just don't buy it. This is a thick heavy pan, I don't think I could dent it with a hammer.

    Glass smooth finish.

    This pan by far was the easiest to season and has a glass like smooth finish since the first time I used it. Because of its design it has much more utility than I originally thought it would. All in all, money well spent!

    Great, versatile pan

    The Mineral B Pro line is very high quality. The country fry pan is very versatile with it's high sides. It works well for making anything from stir fry to a small batch of soup. Great addition to the family!
