Summary
Staub's innovative enamel coating takes cast-iron cooking to the next level with improved performance, style and durability. Ideal for braising and slow-cooking, this versatile, attractive pan transitions seamlessly from the oven to the table. The glass lid fits snugly to retain heat and moisture while allowing you to monitor food.
- Heavyweight enameled cast iron transfers and retains heat evenly.
- Specially formulated black matte interior enamel contains traces of quartz, giving it additional heat resistance and a rougher surface that results in better browning.
- Multicoat enameling creates a glossy, vibrantly colored majolique finish that resembles fine ceramics.
- Resistant to rust, chipping and cracking, the coating requires no additional seasoning like standard cast-iron pieces.
- Glass lid provides tight seal that locks in moisture, ensuring tender, juicy results.
- Lids have nickel knobs, except for matte black and white pan lids, which have brass knobs.
- Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.
- Dishwasher safe.
- Made in France.
- Commercial Grade: Thoughtfully designed and expertly engineered to meet rigorous standards and best practices from select commercial testing.

Parfaite!
This is my new favorite pan, it's absolutely perfect! The heat distribution is fantastic, and I love the glass top. It very well built and has some weight to it.

Better Thought Out
Great product, have multiple LeCruest pieces but I think the high dome lid is better than theirs

Great investment
This is my first STAUB pan. It doesn't disappoint! I followed the instructions carefully and it cooks very well. It's a great size for one-pot meals

Good product, bad store
The product was great, William Sonoma has poor customer service. I’m going to be reluctant to purchase or gift from here in the future

Versatile Beauty
This is an every day pan, on the top and in the oven. It can be a Dutch oven one day, a braise pan the next, and a stew pot the third. The glass cover is practical. The pan beats others because it can take high heat, as well as simmering. My favorite.

Staub Braiser
Happy with the purchase of this Braiser 3 1/2 qt with glass cover. It has never left my range top since it was delivered to my home for Christmas. It cooks and cleans up beautifully. The supporting handles are very helpful.

Cooking surface not flat
The cooking surface of the brasier is not flat but slightly raised in the middle keeping moisturizing juices away from food and causing burning and sticking. I don't know if this is true for all braisers or flaw in mine. Certainly not what is expected from a high quality company.

I love my Staub braiser
I bought this from WS back in September and absolutely love it. Use it all the time. I have it in grenadine and it’s beautiful. I like having the glass lid it has enabled me to be able to monitor what’s going on without having to lift the lid everytime.
