A Gem
Can’t go wrong with a, Staub. Tight fitting lid and the size is perfect for sauces and two people. It is also perfect for reheating leftovers. I am a super fan of the deep rich colors. I leave them out just to admire.

Staub wins the competition
The Staub lid is definitely superior. The inside of the lid captures the cooking flavors and moisture and sends them back into the mix. I made braised boneless beef ribs in both Staub and Le Creuset ovenware and the Staub lid made a flavor difference. The Staub colors (sapphire blue) are beautiful and the optional animal-figure lid knobs are just fun to use. I have a collection of French cast iron and have come to prefer Staub.

Perfect
Perfect size for one serving or two, or browning meat and adding sauce. I called Staub to get the perfect size because I already own two larger and one smaller. These are indestructible. I owned another brand for more than 30 years and they cooked the same but someone burned food and the enamel finish was ugly. So Staub are my replacements and they’re perfect; will probably last longer than I will! Highly recommend.

As Expected from Staub
Great quality as expected from Staub. The paint is very strong despite using in the oven and stove top every day.
