Use & Care
Use
- Ideal for use on all cooktops, including induction.
- Use low or medium heat setting for most cooking. When searing meat, poultry and fish, you can use medium-high heat initially, but once pan is hot and food is added, you should lower heat.
- Oven safe to 500°F.
Care
- Cool pan for a few minutes before cleaning. Do not plunge hot pan into cold water.
- Dishwasher safe.
- Use only recommended nonstick cleaning pads on nonstick surfaces. Do not use metal or abrasive pads or abrasive cleaning agents on any surfaces.

Pointless Lifetime Warranty/coating coming off

We normally hand wash our pans, but occasionally will put them in the dishwasher (the manufacturer claims this is dishwasher safe). Recently I removed the pan from the dishwasher and the coating is fraying all along the edges. Contacted Le Creuset about the LIFETIME WARRANTY, and they say it is a cosmetic issue and safe to use, and is not covered. I personally do not think eating the coating is advisable. I will stay with Allclad or Staub in the future.

Love this. Big enough but not to big. Cook for 3-4 with it. Love that you can put in dishwasher.

Pretty shallow pan

It's a lot more shallow than I imagined. It's a nice pan though. It's not extremely heavy and it washes well. Oil and such will travel to the sides dut to being so shallow.

Found this pan by googling "What is the best pan for eggs." This among others came up. I read all about it and got it. It really is the best pan for eggs. Nothing sticks!
