    Use & Care

    Use

    • Always use caution when handling sharp objects.
    • Avoid cutting on hard surfaces, such as stone, metal and glass.
    • It is not advisable to use any knife but a meat cleaver to cut through bone, as other blades can be easily damaged.

    Care

    • Hand-wash with warm water and mild detergent. 
    • Rinse and dry immediately.
    • Avoid using cleaners that contain bleach and citrus extracts.
    • Maintain knife's cutting edge by regularly using honing steel.
    • Sharpen as needed. With regular use and honing, knife should not need sharpening more than once or twice per year.
    • Sharpen knife at home using whetstone or knife sharpener, or have it sharpened by a professional.
    • Store knife in safe place to protect edge and prevent injury.

    Sharp, well-balanced, no place for food to hide

I've enjoyed the Zwilling 8" chef's knife and feel that this will become my #1 favorite knife for chopping medium/small veggies.

    For the in between jobs

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect knife for quick in between slicing jobs. For when you don’t want to break out the big guns. Some fatigue may arise if used for extended periods as it is not as beefy as a chefs knife but this will make quick work of small to medium items
