    Summary

Kramer Carbon 2.0 knives are forged of straight carbon steel 52100, which is harder than stainless steel and prized for its exceptional edge retention and superior sharpness. Designed by master bladesmith Bob Kramer, this updated collection features a newly refined distal taper that makes each knife substantially lighter in weight while providing optimal edge geometry for improved cutting efficiency. The hand-shaped Micarta handles are remarkably durable and boast a unique "bird beak" that ensures a secure, comfortable grip. Made in Seki, Japan, this versatile chef's knife is ideal for chopping, mincing and slicing.

    The perfect knife

This is an incredible knife. Well designed, feels perfect in hand. Haven’t had to sharpen it yet. So glad Bob Kramer made licensed his designs to ZWILLING. Nice touch including the little bottle of oil in the package.

    Beautiful Knife

This is a beautiful knife. We finally decided to upgrade our lower-quality knives after several years of buying and sharpening more often than I care to say. After researching all over and comparing, we ultimately bought this knife and some others in the same line and am completely happy with it. Knife holds an edge incredibly well and is just beautiful to look at.

    Excellent knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sharp out of the box with a large circumference handle that fits me well. I look forward to years of use. Higher height blade base helps to scoop food for transfer. Excellent quality.

    Worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my favorite carbon steel knive!! The fit and finish is second to none! I loved this knife so much o bought nearly every carbon 2.0 knife in the line and will complete the collection. I have tried a few other knives and have to go back to these the superior edge retention and quality finish on these knives is exactly what you would expect from a top dollar knife.

    Great Knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knife is good! and sharp, but it discolors very easily, also it also didn't hold the sharp edge for a long time, so you have to sharpen it quite often, I like it, but for the price, the quality and sharpness of the knife could be slightly better!

    Great knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first premium chef knife and I now understand what everyone means by "let the knife do the work".

    Worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is absolutely the sharpest knife I've ever owned. While I'm relatively new to higher end knives this is a great entry point because it has the feel of a Western/German knife with almost all the precision and sharpness of a Japanese knife. Carbon steel is absolutely more work, but the patina is beautiful. If you've been thinking about getting it for awhile, this is your sign to go for it!
