- For use with No. 4 cone-shaped paper filters.
Care
- After each use, hand-wash carafe and brew basket with mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Brew basket, Rainmaker™ showerhead, silicone water bridge, carafe lid, coffee scoop and mixing tube are removable and top-rack dishwasher safe.
- Clean outside of coffee maker regularly with damp cloth and wipe dry.
- Coffee oil stains in carafe may be removed by placing small amount of dishwasher detergent and water in carafe and allowing to soak overnight. Please note carafe is not dishwasher safe.

Residual Water Reservoir Moisture After Coffee Making

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great- with the exception that the water reservoir after making coffee is all clouded up with moisture. This is my 3rd OXO coffeemaker (current one replaced defective one), and this did not happen with the previous coffee makers. My work around is to open lid to reservoir to eliminate any residual moisture.

Coffee tastes like chemicals

I have washed all the parts numerous times, and have ran water and coffee through it maybe 10 times. And it STILL smells and tastes like plastic chemicals. I will be returning it.

Strong plastic smell

Meh

After reading reviews and seeing it was top rated on wire cutter I was sort of hoping I’d like this better. I find it not intuitive to set the timer. Takes me several attempts and I’ve owned it a week. Wish the capacity was larger than 9 cups. Not quite enough for me and my husband. Like the sleek design though. Coffee comes out good and hot. Doesn’t leak and I like the thermal Carafe.

Coffee tastes like plastic - very disappointing

This is a great coffee maker, but the execution is incredibly poor. A few parts of the machine are made out of plastic which absorbs an insane level of plastic taste. Impossible to make good coffee.

The McMansion of drip coffee makers

Makes good coffee but it’s HUGE. I thought I’d get used to its massiveness but it takes up SO much counter space and is inconvenient for daily use.

Coffee maker

There is a distinct rubber smell from hoses that distribute water from the water tank and the one passing into the carafe. After two weeks of use I was hoping it would diminish, but not yet. Aroma impacts taste.
