    Knife marks on cutting surface

    I am concerned that knife marks are showing up in the cutting surface -- is there a chance that bacteria could get into these marks and become a problem?

    Nice Cutting Board

    I purchased a small and medium size Epicurean cutting boards from Williams Sonoma online. I like that they have a rubber grip at each end of the board on both sides so that it doesn’t move on the counter while cutting or chopping. However, what I don’t like is the odor it emits after the board is washed in hot soap and water. Once the board is completely dry, the odor disappears. It would have been helpful if this had been stated in the description. I am not sure if this is a chemical used to make the board and if it’s harmful.

    Ink smear

    Just purchased and used once and the board itself is great. I did however, find it weird that the ink of the logo started running and smearing during that first use and before I washed it.

    Great Board

    We are trying to get away from plastic and the salesperson talked us into this one. It seemed expensive, but I will say we LOVE it. Doesn't seem to stain and I actually plan on getting another one in a different size.

    Thin but good on my knives.

    A little too thin. But it doesn’t slip so that’s good.
