Salad scissors

I was super excited to use this salad scissors, but, unfortunately, in my first experience with using it, the scissors catches on the blade of itself when the two blades are trying to pass past the edge of each other. It looks very high-quality, but Functions poorly. I’m super disappointed!

Broken Sheara

broken salad shears, the closure which holds them closed was difficult to remove and now can not be replaced and thus the shears are stored in the open position, dangerous!

Salad shears disappoint

Constructed well but does not snip well using the tip. Does not cut as sharp and clean as expected for price and quality of materials.

Design was inadequate for the job.

We use kitchen shears daily to cut greens in the garden and then into salads, so thought these would be great. But they didn't work. These would not cut the greens, they just pinched them.

These scissors do not cut anything, I tried with lettuce then green onions…terrible. I tried returning them the next day the store manager said WS doesn’t take used items back, I told her the scissors are useless. She tried cutting paper in front of me then agreed with me. Shame it took that for her to believe me.

Good but!

The shears work great but unfortunately the leather piece that keeps them closed broke. These are sharp and dangerous if they are not kept closed. Unfortunately WS would not replace mine. Also have not been able to find a sheath for them.

This shear is not necessary. I would not buy them again although they do work well, I find that I use my food shear more than this salad shear.

These would be amazing if they didn’t get stuck constantly… so basically worthless

Sharp, Weighty, Roughly Sharpened

Bought with Gift Card and much anticipation. Delivery was slow but as promised. The problem arose when the blades would not come together and bypass due to crudely ground cutting edge fragments. To overcome this I used a fine sharpening stone to recreate a clean edge on both blades. Aside from being heavier than my kitchen scissors and more right-hand friendly, they do work. One plus * is for the blunt blade tips that help protect the salad prep bowl.
