    Use & Care

    Use

    • Ideal for gas and electric cooktops; not compatible with induction cooktops.
    • To protect tin lining from damage, do not heat pan empty or at temperatures above 430°F.
    • Use wood, plastic or heat resistant nylon tools to avoid scratching tin lining.

    Care

    • Allow pot to cool before washing.
    • Hand-wash.
    • Dry immediately with soft cloth.
    • Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.
    • Copper will develop a rich patina over time. This will not affect the pan's cooking performance. To keep the exterior looking new, use copper polish or a combination of lemon and salt.
    • Tin lining protects food from reacting with copper but will become discolored with use. Depending on frequency of use and types of food cooked, tin lining may eventually need to be replaced. To prolong life of liner, avoid cooking acidic ingredients in tin-lined cookware.

    Not good.

    The inside metal bubbled almost immediately, and the handle gets burning hot almost immediately. Don't buy this one.

    Hit or miss with you guys

    Love the pot. Only took a few days to get this in the mail. Can't say the same about the spatula I ordered 2 months ago. Still waiting...

    Excellent addition to kitchen cookware

    Pan is as advertised, especially for melting butter and small sauce preparations. All you need is very low heating, easy to clean so far Only negative, wish handle was a little longer

    Great little pot

    It’s the perfect size for a sauce or something small. Beautiful. I was surprised at the low price until I discovered its weighty handle causes an imbalance and it’s prone to tipping on the burner. I orient it so the handle is aligned with the burner supports and it stands ok. RTFM about the materials and it should last. The lining has no sticking issues and cleans easily.

    Perfect for Sauces

    This saucepan proves why tin-lined copper is the most responsive combination for making sauces. The pour spout is very convenient. Although I would have preferred a longer handle, Ruffoni’s expertise must have told them that a longer (heavier) handle would make the pan tipsy. I intend to by a spare. Excellent purchase.

    Love this sauce pan, it works beautifully to melt butter evenly [low heat on my gas stove!] without burning it. I own & love several pieces of Ruffoni copper cookware.
