Use & Care
Care
- Hopper and upper burr remove for easy cleaning.
- Clean burrs and grounds chute with small bristle brush. Never use water or other liquid to clean inside of grinder/burrs.
- Wipe exterior of machine with damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive pads, harsh chemicals or spray cleaner chemicals, as these may damage the surface of the appliance.

Sleek design, consistent grinds

I've been using the Oxo Brew Grinder, and overall it does a solid job. The burrs grind evenly, and the coffee tastes noticeably better compared to blade grinders I've tried in the past. It's also not overly loud, which is nice for early mornings. The design feels sturdy and looks clean on the counter, and the hopper holds plenty of beans for a few days of brewing. That being said, I don't love the time-based grind function. I can never seem to dial in the exact amount I want, so I usually end up stopping it early or running it twice. It works, but it feels like I'm guessing every time. A weight-based system would have been a lot more precise. The grind settings themselves are great, though-I can get a consistent coarse grind for my French press or finer for pour-over without much trouble. Cleanup is simple too, which is a bonus. Overall, it's a reliable grinder that makes good coffee, but the timer feature holds it back from being perfect. If you don't mind measuring or experimenting a little, it's definitely a worthwhile upgrade for better tasting coffe.

What an excellent grinder!

This grinder is a great value and produces the most consistent grind of any grinder I’ve ever owned. It also looks smart and does not have an overwhelming presence on my counter. You will not be disappointed if you order one! I particularly like the Start/Timer button: one press and WHOSH! …it’s done.

Consistent, good price point for coffee lovers

I love my grinder! I use it for french press and chemex brews so I don’t know how it would perform for espresso grind, but I find it so easy and convenient to use. I love that it has a cannister. I’ve used other grinders and they can be quite messy. My sister has the same and loves it. Great price too.

Our go-to grinder

We had this grinder for years, but when it finally gave up after very regular use, we replaced it with a Cuisinart because that what was in stock at our local W-S store. It barely lasted two months before it started making awful sounds, and it was always louder and ground inconsistently compared to the Oxo. Finally just ordered a new Oxo so we wouldn't be caught unprepared and switched to using it as soon as it arrived rather than waiting for the other one to completely break. It has a consistent grind size and is relatively quiet given the job it does. It's also easy to take apart to clean, and the spout doesn't clog. A great product.

Perfection

OXO Burr Grinder FTW - totally changed my coffee

I had no idea how much I needed a Burr Grinder until I opened this one and started using it. It's incredible. So fast, so easy and the coffee grind is consistent. I'm still playing with the grind setting to find the one that I like best, but even that is simple. Set it at a number, select only 1-2 seconds, push button and ground coffee is ready. Easy peasy. Also, it's really convenient that it holds a full 12 oz bag of beans in the hopper. The Oxo is fantastic.
