- For best results, use low to medium heat on cooktop.
- Oven and broiler safe; phenolic-resin knob is oven safe to 500°F.
- Use wood, plastic or heat-resistant nylon tools to avoid scratching the enamel surface.
- Do not slide pan on stovetop.
- Enamel can chip or crack if dropped or banged on hard surface.

- Allow to cool before washing.
- Dishwasher safe.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads, harsh detergents or abrasive cleansers.
- Stubborn food residue and stains can be removed with nylon scrubbing pad or sponge.

Love Le Creuset for slow cooking in oven!

I LOVE slow cooking in the oven with this dutch oven! Makes perfect BBQ ribs.

Not impressed

Disappointed. Used less than 10 times & its enamel is already cracking. For such a expensive purchase I expected better.

Just fine, but disappointing for the price

Overall a nice dish, but product has a weird hot spot that develops while cooking. Anything sitting there gets visibly browner, as does the pan. Easy to see with the white enamel coating on the inside. I've found that it also sticks way worse to food than our non-enameled cast iron (which of course, is a fraction of the price).

The best cast iron!

If you only buy one piece of LC, this should be it! It’s big, but it is so versatile! Soups, stews, bread, roast chicken or beef… this is the Dutch oven! It heats so evenly, food is cooked perfectly. I hope to pass this down to future cooks in my family!

DO NOT USE WITH ELECTRIC GLASS STOVETOP!!

The matte white version ruined my glass stove top. DO NOT use on electric glass top!!

Love it!

I‘ve been wanting to purchase a dutch oven for years. This Le Creuset did not disappoint. My pulled pork turned out perfectly and clean up was easy. Bonus points was that it was on sale with free shipping!

Customer service failure.

Arrived gouged due to poor packaging. Replacement never shipped. Now backordered “indefinitely” except I was not informed until pro-actively calling myself to check status after 6 weeks of waiting. Unacceptable.
