Joy to Use

I have used my new sauteuse a couple of times so far. It's so easy to use! Very lightweight, nearly nonstick, and deep enough to fit one-pan ingredients. The higher sides result in less spattering all over the cooktop, too. It browns beautifully, which non-stick just can't do. We are only two in our house, so often I need a smaller pan, but in the winter, I like to braise, and this pan is perfect for that with the domed lid. I was afraid it would be too large for smaller quantities, but it has been good for the recipes I've tried. It's a very good complement to the set of three Titum skillets I bought first. The two universal lids are a good choice, too. I'd like to see a one-quart Nanobond saucepan, it's a size I use often. Small households like to cook with great cookware, too!

Ridiculously useful pan!

This is a workhorse of my kitchen since I purchased it! Perfect size for a large burner, heats evenly across the bottom, perfect depth for frying, can go from stove to oven! Esthetically pleasing, solid and secure handles that can be easily and assuredly gripped when using a bulky potholder. Straight sides (unlike my old Le Creuset braiser/sauteuse) give you much more cooking surface & more consistent cooking results. Lid fits the Hestan 12 qt stock pot too! Just the perfect pot for one-pot meals!
