    BUYER BEWARE

    $100 cutting board arrived with chipped corner and apparently this is a non returnable item. Do Not Buy

    Buyer beware!!

    I purchased this expensive cutting board for my husband's birthday. I got the large one (19.5 x 15). He did not use it until our next large family event (a couple of months later). To my horror, after just one use the cutting board surface looked like sawdust!! This is a horrible product. I tried returning the cutting board to Williams-Sonoma, but because if was beyond the 30-day return policy (even thought the "event" just happened) I was told to contact Epicurean directly for warranty coverage. Epicurean has a no refund/no exchange policy for any items not purchased directly from them. We are now stuck with a sub-standard cutting board that cost me almost $100!!! Buyer beware!!!

    Great cutting board

    I love the material and that it is not made of plastic. I love that I can put it in the dishwasher. I love the size. I love the drip well. Even with all that said, I do think it is overpriced.

    After trying plastic cutting boards, heavy wood boards, and feeling nothing would meet my needs, I purchased this large composite board and a smaller one. They are perfect. The surface is wood but a tougher/harder board that does not retain odors and cleans up well. It’s also much lighter in weight so my arthritic hands and fingers can handle them. Thank you to the associate who helped me and recommended these boards would meet my needs.

    It smells terrible and smells worse when it get wet. Also, the black color in the border well rubbed off.
