    High failure rate

I am on my second machine and both have broken in leas than 6 months. It says add water while filled with water and no amount of cleaning or resetting resolves it.

    Short life span

This is the second ice maker that broke in a year. It works fine except after a few months it will not fill and gives me an Add Water message. I tried cleaning, unplugging and waiting, draining and refilling. Same error as the first machine I had. Very disappointed in Cuisinart. This is the second machine I will be hauling to the landfill.

    Great little machine

This little gem is great. The ice maker on our boat died and rather than spend $1,700 for a replacement that always needed to be cleaned and defrosted, I decided to spend 1/10 on this. Is it fast, not really, is it a bit noisy, yes. Does it crank out more ice than you think you need? Yes. The power draw is minimal which is great for Boaters and RVers. Make a few batches, put them in the freezer and let it keep going. You’ll have plenty of ice in no time. I use only distilled water in mine to keep it clean but also to keep transferred taste down. All in all, happy I got this as a replacement to a much more expensive/problematic maker.

    Slow

This is my first time using this. It says it makes a basket of small ice in 8-9 minutes. I've been waiting almost 30 minutes for the basket to get full.

I like my little ice maker

The icemaker works great, but whenever I get low on water, it turns off and I come home and there’s no ice it doesn’t register that the whole bucket of ice is now melted and the water is now full. You have to hold the button five seconds turn it back on and then we do get ice pretty quickly. I’m pretty happy with it overall I found that it dose work better on the small setting rather than a large!

    Good quality for the money

Bought this a couple months ago and just getting around to this review. I’m very impressed with it-makes nice sized cubes pretty fast. Easy to use and cleans up nice when you’re done. I would recommend this to everyone. Doesn’t take up much space and I can use it in my camper

    It's Fun..

This machine is fun to use and I really like it. It takes time to get to know how it works, but after that it's okay. It seems to take sometime to do this, or maybe it is just me.

    Iceless

Just getting around to write a review. I received the ice maker, cleaned and let sit for 3 or so hours before plugging in. After plugging in the ice maker it constantly produces only 1 to 3 pieces of ice every cycle. 3 after being on for hours. The ambient temperature is 70 degrees in the location it sits.
