Great Tea Contraption

Great tea machine. We like the temperature control features to help deliver the optimum flavor depending on type of tea. The steeping feature is great but a bit clunky to deploy easily.

Glass not sturdy - disappointed with this expensive product

The glass is very fragile because our kettle cracked with a light tap on the sink. I was expecting this product to last much longer, I bought this expensive tea maker only 6 months ago. For the price I expected a more sturdy product with better quality glass.

Good tea maker

High quality tea maker. I bought it to make chai lattes, and it is a bit tricky for this job. I just need to heat up the milk separately. The one drawback is the minimum is 2 cups - don't always want that much tea.

Cumbersome

This unit is very cumbersome to use. It makes good tea but hard to clean and quite heavy

No replacement kettles

The glass kettle broke after 5 weeks. I could not return and Breville doesn’t sell replacements. Waste of money

Hot tea is made!

This tea infuser is a great product. I use it every morning to make my raspberry black tea and it’s perfect every time. I almost gave it a four star because there is no auto start like a coffee pot.

Extremely disappointed

Received this as a gift from my son on Christmas 2022! (Right -- just about one month ago!) Apparently, you can only return it if done by January 31, 2023. Well about ten days ago, I discovered rust at the bottom of the metal seam of the compartment that holds the tea. It took a week to get the receipt from my son (you know how even adult kids are!). But I was aghast at this warranty. The box instructs you to contact Breville as opposed to returning the product to the store. So I called Breville since I am now a few days outside the warranty -- but we all know rust doesn't form overnight. So I am placed on hold and the recording says it will take 45 minutes to get to my call. I was given the option to have them call me back, and I would not lose my place in the queue. Well, you guessed it -- I haven't heard a peep from Breville, and I suspect I won't. I thought this was a quality company after all this kettle is rather expensive. I am extremely disappointed.
