- Caution: Handle can get hot. Grilling mitt or glove may be necessary.
- Use grilling mitts or gloves when handling.
- Metal utensils can be used.
- Always use heat-resistant utensils.
- Safe for use up to 600°F.

- To hand-wash, wash in hot, soapy water, rinse well and dry immediately.
- Do not use oven cleaners or cleaners with chlorine bleach.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.

Bad, unusable rack. Would never buy again.

I bought the roasting pan a little over a year ago. I’ve used it only twice and like for so many others, the black coating is coming off the rack. I’m not comfortable using it any longer and don’t trust it to be safe in its current condition. A lot of money for only two uses. I don’t understand why All-Clad doesn’t just use a normal, stainless steel rack that is safe, long lasting and easy to clean. Can’t find a replacement and as far as I can tell All-Clad doesn’t sell one. The bad thing is that I gave one of these as a gift.

Roaster Rack Peels

Like many others, the rack coating is peeling. I no longer use it. Some who complain appear to receive a robotic note saying to call them. To what end? Do they guarantee it or not? I think this is just a brush off.

Very solid pan. Kinda heavy by itself, and then there’s the added weight of the food! Easy to clean.

Rack doesn’t last, but All Clad will replace it

I have owned this roasting pan for years but never use it because the rack has lost all of its coating and I worry about the health hazards. Now seeing all the other reviews below, clearly I’m not the only one who has this problem. They do not sell a replacement rack. However they have a lifetime warranty on the nonstick coating, so if you call them, they will send you a replacement rack. So buy this item if you’re ok with replacing the rack after every few uses. I hope it can be recycled.

Love the pan -- hate the rack.

Use my pan 1-2x a year and every year look for a replaced rack insert because my is peeling too and is getting worst. Just called Customer Service and they basically told me to buy a universal rack off the internet. You would think that if the are aware of the situation -- which they obviously are by the number of bad review about the rack -- they would either offer a replacement rack or redesign the rack coating.

Pan is great, rack is not

Same problem as so many here- coating on rack began to come away after only a few turkeys. Like the others, I used no abrasive cleaners etc. Love the pan but every Thanksgiving I’m stuck trying to find an alternative rack. Difficult to replace due to size…..

Love the pan, hate the rack

Love the pan, hate the rack. Like others, the coating on the rack has begun to flake off after limited use and nothing abrasive in utensils or cleaning. Since this is not up to AllClad's standards, they should replace it for free, but I'd be willing to pay for a replacement. Unfortunately, there is none. The pan itself is great.

Terrible Coating

We were gifted this rack for our wedding. We typically cook a prime rib using the closed oven method. I'm not sure if the rack can't withstand a 500* oven but multiple pieces of the black coating on the rack peeled off. I don't know if it was necessarily the heat or just poor quality, but I would not recommend if you don't want pieces of coating in your food.

Best roasting pan ever.

This roasting pan is the perfect example of you get what you pay for. Performance wise I've made a king size lasagna in it with the pasta staying most and Not dried!! I cooked a 12 lb Rib roast for Christmas and for the au jus sauce I just removed the roast and added beef broth to the dripping in the pan while heat it up on top of the stove right from the oven. And I love the stay cool handles which are cool in less than 5 minutes out of the oven. Thank you All-Clad
