Crafted by an award-winning Southern company that has produced premium fruit preserves for over 75 years, it features ripe orchard apples, aromatic cinnamon and nutmeg, and just enough sugar to create a silky syrup. Prep is simple – all you need to do is pour the filling in a pie shell, add a lattice or rolled top crust, and bake. The versatile starter is also great for making crumbles, tarts and hand pies.

    Use & Care

    RECEVING INSTRUCTIONS

    • Starter ships fresh at ambient temperature.
    • Upon receipt, store at room temperature or in refrigerator for up to 12 months. See best before date on packaging for shelf life details. Once opened, store in refrigerator and enjoy within 1 month.

    PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

    • Preheat oven to 350°F.
    • Pour starter in your favorite 9" diam. piecrust.
    • Bake for approx. 60 minutes, or until crust is golden.
    • Serve warm or at room temperature, plain or with vanilla ice cream.

    Ingredients

    • Apples, sugar, apple juice, modified food starch, lemon juice, cultured dextrose, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract.
    • This product is prepared and packaged using machines that may come in contact with dairy, wheat/gluten, soy, fish (anchovies), tree nuts (walnuts, pecans), mustard.
