    Use & Care

    Use

    • Before first use, hand-wash with warm, soapy water.
    • Ideal for gas and electric cooktops (not induction-compatible).
    • Preheat pan over medium heat and brush with unsalted vegetable shortening or oil before each use.
    • Pour 2 Tbs. batter into each well and cook until center bubbles and edges turn
    • golden brown.
    • Flip each pancake with non-metal utensil. We recommend using wooden skewers or chopsticks, a small silicone spatula or a plastic fork.
    • Continue cooking until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Non stick coating (teflon?) peels off

    I’m now on my second pan. First pan coating came off (hand wash only) within first month. My son loves the pancakes so I gave it a second shot. Here we again and I will be heading to the store today to see what can be done because it’s after 30 days.
