Goldie by Sourhouse™ with Pint & Quart Starter Jars
-
Detail
Summary
Sourdough bakers are all too familiar with the "Goldilocks Zone" – the ambient room temperature that's neither too hot nor too cool, but just right for developing sourdough starter. The Goldie by Sourhouse™ creates the ideal temperature so you don't have to wait for conditions to be perfect. Simply turn on the Goldie, place your jar of starter inside the clear-glass warming dome, and the consistent, draft-free environment allows bacteria and yeast to be at their most active to develop a robust and flavorful starter. Our bundle comes with pint- and quart-size starter storage jars.
- Includes Goldie by Sourhouse and two Sourhouse Starter Jars in pint and quart sizes.
- Compact design holds up to a quart-size jar.
- Warms starter to 75°F–82°F.
- Clear borosilicate glass cloche allows you to monitor starter.
- Auto-warming on/off switch.
- Simple three-zone thermometer indicates starter's behavior and helps anticipate the ideal time to begin baking.
- Includes Sourhouse Cooling Puck for high room temperatures that make it necessary to cool down your starter.
- Borosilicate-glass starter jars have straight sides and flat bottoms for easy mixing and cleaning, and good contact with warming pad.
- Silicone jar lids hug the outside of the jar to keep contaminates out.
- Marker dots and a gold silicone band help track starter activity.

Wonderful little gadget.
This is a terrific little warmer. My house tends to be too cool for happy sourdough. This is a game changer.

Amazing product, painfully slow to ship/deliver!
Sourhouse is a powerhouse. It makes sourdough bread making easy to gauge and plan out. But when ordering from Williams Sonoma, I had to wait two months to receive it. Super slow shipping!

This device works really well. As a first time sourdough bread maker it helped get me off to a good start. My starter is rising really nicely all thanks to this device.

Product works great, plug not included
Been making sourdough for a while now and have to admit, this little warming pad works great. I just had to take off one star for the fact that at this price point (almost $200 for a starter set) it does not come with an actual plug, just a usb cord and a note that says they didn’t want to provide one because they weren’t sure which country and wattage I desired. Umm, this is shipping to the US and I shouldn’t have to dig out an old IPad charger plug to make my $200 gourmet sourdough starter pad actually work. Again, overall product is great, but this just came across cheap and ridiculous.
